PRESIDENT & CEO
Ross founded iPROMOTEu in August 1999 and has served as the company’s President and CEO since that time. Under his leadership, iPROMOTEu has achieved continuous and substantial growth.
Prior to iPROMOTEu, he was involved with the RE/MAX real estate organization in many capacities, including Executive Vice President and General Counsel, for seven years. He was instrumental in the growth of the RE/MAX system in parts of the United States, Canada, Europe and the Middle East. During this time, he was also the president and co-founder of an affiliated mortgage company that he managed for three years before it was acquired.
Prior to RE/MAX, Ross worked for five years as a corporate attorney at Goodwin, Procter & Hoar, a leading Boston law firm, where he specialized in financings and acquisitions. In 2005, he received the Distributor Entrepreneur of the Year Award from ASI and Counselor Magazine. He is regularly involved as a speaker, panelist and participant in industry educational programs and is a frequent contributor to the various industry publications. Ross graduated from Boston College, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Management and later earned a Master of Science in Management from the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T. and a law degree from Boston University.
As the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO, Renee is responsible for making sure that daily administrative tasks run smoothly, while managing corporate calendars, travel, meetings, and anything to ensure an efficient and professional office environment. Renee enjoys working closely with staff, and their willingness to work collaboratively as a team. In her free time, Renee enjoys traveling, watching her son’s play sports, golfing, and getting together with friends. Renee also coaches her son’s basketball teams and has had two championship winning seasons.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Rick joined iPROMOTEu in December 1999 as Executive Vice President and has been instrumental in the growth of the company. He has more than 30 years experience in the promotional products industry. For most of his career, he was affiliated with a large distributorship as a salesperson and, later, as a manager. For the three years immediately prior to joining iPROMOTEu, Rick was Director of Franchise Services at Adventures in Advertising and was instrumental in AIA’s growth during his tenure. He has a wealth of industry contacts and is well-respected by both distributors and suppliers. Rick graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
David joined the iPROMOTEu management team in September 2007 as Director of Operations. His responsibilities include the planning and improvement of the company’s systems and procedures. For 35 years prior to iPROMOTEu, David was the co-founder and president of a manufacturing company that produced and distributed professional photographic accessories and provided subcontract machining services to other manufacturers. David graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and, later, earned an Master of Science in Management from the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T.
VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE
Ed joined iPROMOTEu in May of 2013. He has enjoyed a distinguished career in financial management spanning 30 years. Prior to joining iPROMOTEu, Mr. Burke spent time in a number of industries including real estate finance, hospitality, building materials and distribution companies. Most recently, Mr. Burke had been CFO for EnergyUSA Propane until its sale in 2012. Prior to that, he spent 5 years as the Sr. VP Finance and CFO for All Seasons Services, Inc. and 10 years as CFO and Controller for Somerville Lumber and Supply Co. Mr. Burke is a certified public accountant. He received a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley University and an MBA from Babson College.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL OPERATIONS
Kai joined iPROMOTEu in June 2016. Throughout his career of over 25 years, he has gained great experience and demonstrated substantive expertise in strategic planning, corporate finance and financial services operations across various industries including retail, manufacturing, information technologies and government systems.
Kai has had highly visible roles in large companies such as Staples and General Dynamics; at both corporate and division levels. His specialties include analysis, budgeting, process design and implementation, and project management. Kai received a BS in Engineering from the State University of New York, an MS in Engineering from NYU Polytechnic Institute, and was a former engineer. Kai also received his MBA Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Candace loves working for iPROMOTEu because she believes the company truly cares about its Affiliates. She would know — it’s her job. Candace handles the onboarding of new Affiliates to ensure a seamless integration with iPROMOTEu’s systems and processes. She also manages the Virtual Assistant Program and facilitates A Woman’s View, which provides resources and networking opportunities for female Affiliates. Before joining the iPROMOTEu team, she worked for ASI. Candace brings that industry knowledge to the table, which especially helps when attending trade shows with our Affiliates. She loves wine tasting and visiting with her four grandkids.
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Bob is the Director of Business Development at iPROMOTEu. He joined iPROMOTEu in July 2011 as the expert Print & Packaging Consultant. His responsibilities include overseeing iPROMOTEu’s recruiting activities and managing the print and packaging division of the business. Prior to joining iPROMOTEu, he owned and operated his own print and promotional products company with an emphasis on print and packaging. He comes from the manufacturing side of the print industry where he worked for a commercial offset printer as a Business Development Manager. Bob graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Printing Management.
DIRECTOR OF AFFILIATE MARKETING
Cliff joined iPROMOTEu as the exclusive Sales and Marketing Consultant. He has been involved in the promotional products and sportswear industries for over three decades. Cliff is the recipient of numerous industry awards and accolades including 17 PPAI Pyramid award wins and recognition as PPAI’s Ambassador Speaker of the Year for six consecutive years. He was also recognized by PPAI as one of the top five industry speakers and trainers and by Counselor Magazine as one of the Top 50 Most Influential People in the Promotional Products Industry. He has published over 500 articles and two books: Going for the Gold and Weekly Motivational Insights. Cliff is also currently the President & CEO of Cliff Quicksell & Associates. He studied Marketing & Business Communications at the University of Maryland College Park.
DIRECTOR OF SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
As Director of Software Engineering, Venkat is focused on bringing the best technologies in the market to improve the user experience of Affiliates, customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. Prior to iPROMOTEu, Venkat served as Director of e-Commerce Engineering at Staples and before that served as CTO and cofounder of Micronotes, a venture funded software company in the financial services space. For a decade before that Venkat worked as a software engineer at Cisco Systems.
Venkat holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics and a master’s degree in Computer Applications from universities in India. He also holds an MBA from MIT Sloan. In his spare time, Venkat enjoys hanging out with his kids and outdoor activities including running and bicycling.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
Brian has been with us for over 10 years. As the Director of Finance, he handles all internal financials, Affiliate profit disbursements and IDAs, along with all finance-related customer and vendor inquiries. Brian enjoys helping in any way he can, offering solutions both internally and externally. He loves the day-to-day interaction with Affiliates and his co-workers. Brian enjoys golfing, movies and music, as well as spending time with family and friends.
DIRECTOR OF VENDOR RELATIONS
As Director of Vendor Relations, Catherine focuses on importing, product safety, product sourcing and strengthening vendor relations. She has over 20 years of experience on the supplier side of the promotional products industry managing relationships with both domestic and international vendors. Catherine vets and coordinates all import resources, overseeing and ensuring the import order process goes smoothly. She loves being part of a team that has innovatively brought change to the industry. On her down time, Catherine enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, boating, and reading.
DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
As Director, Human Resources, Joyce’s role is one of an advocate for both iPROMOTEu and its staff, serving as a link between the company’s management and its employees. She has responsibility for all of the processes, systems and activities related to both the staff and management including recruitment and hiring, benefit administration, talent management and advising managers and employees on personnel matters. Joyce loves the company and the people and enjoys being a member of the iPROMOTEu family! When not at work, she is either dancing, walking, doing yoga or spending lots of time with her three grandchildren.
VENDOR RELATIONS MANAGER
Mark assists and manages all aspects of iPROMOTEu’s vendor relationships, with the goal of strengthening our position in the marketplace. Mark also acts as a liaison between iPROMOTEu’s Affiliates and its vendor network. He loves helping Affiliates resolve challenges and source their needs. Mark is a true outdoorsman who enjoys boating, paddle boarding, skiing, running and hiking. He is also a die-hard Red Sox fan who loves summertime in New England.
AFFILIATE SERVICES MANAGER
Emily’s role as Affiliate Services Manager enables her to provide an extra level of service and support to some of iPROMOTEu’s top-producing Affiliates. Emily has had two stints at iPROMOTEu, from 2008-2011 and 2013 to the present. She says that coming back was one of the best career decisions she’s ever made. Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter, Penelope.
AFFILIATE SERVICES MANAGER
As an Affiliate Services Manager, Eric offers help desk support, answering software-related questions and other challenges. He acts as a liaison on behalf of Affiliates to assist them in finding the answers they need. Eric loves the supportive atmosphere at iPROMOTEU, where all employees help each other succeed. Eric is a fan of video games, basketball, horror and comedy movies. He loves hanging out with his wife and kids. A five-year veteran of the National Guard, Eric volunteers his time at his local Disabled American Veterans (DAV) chapter.
As the Manager of Production, Josh and his highly motivated team work diligently to ensure that every order placed by our Affiliates is produced to their specifications, then shipped when and how they expect it. Josh loves working with his fellow staffers and iPROMOTEu’s valued Affiliates. In his spare time, he enjoys writing fiction and reading everything, from novels to Internet blogs. Josh is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. As the saying goes, “Once a Marine, Always a Marine.” Ooh-Rah!
Justin manages the Invoicing Department. His responsibilities include obtaining vendor invoices and vouching them into the order management system as well as creating and sending customer invoices. He enjoys assisting Affiliates with resolving billing and vendor issues. Justin enjoys the friendly, family atmosphere of the office, which makes it a pleasure to come to each day. He is an Eagle Scout who enjoys riding his motorcycle, golfing, watching movies and spending quality time with his wife and two young daughters.
AFFILIATE RELATIONS MANAGER
For more than seven years, Joe has been working closely with some of our largest Affiliates. His role as Strategic Account Manager helps them in all aspects of their business. By assisting them on all back-end processes, Affiliates and their sales teams are free to go out and sell. Joe enjoys the satisfaction of helping Affiliates and watching them grow their businesses. Joe likes to spend time with his son, staying outdoors with his dog and swimming. He is a big sports fan, having fun both playing and watching games.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER
As Accounts Payable Manager, Colleen handles all payments and issues, while also handling the processing of monthly sales tax reports and payments. She truly enjoys working and interacting with a variety of people on a daily basis, both in person and over the phone. Colleen enjoys the different job functions she has and is always willing to help. She is involved in a number of special projects in her personal life. Colleen’s favorite project is the MSPCA rescue and re-homing of senior cats. Colleen also enjoys antiquing, traveling, and gourmet cooking.
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE MANAGER
Mike manages the Accounts Receivable department and his team is in charge of collecting payments from customers and posting those payments to their respective jobs. Accounts Receivable contacts customers regarding the payment of invoices and ensures collection in a timely and professional manner. His favorite part of working here is the friendly environment and culture. Mike enjoys spending time with his daughter, family vacations, music, trips to Cape Cod, and playing the guitar.
AFFILIATE RELATIONS MANAGER
Lisa brings over 20 years of industry experience as a distributor, specializing in promotional products, silk-screening and embroidery. Lisa uses her comprehensive expertise in her role as an Affiliate Relations Manager when resolving issues and ensuring a positive experience for our Affiliates. In addition, she is a valued Administrative Assistant, providing support, reports and information for Senior Management. Lisa enjoys arts and crafts, weekends at the Cape, reading and cooking. She loves football and spending time with her family and friends. Lisa sat on the Board of Directors of the Ashland Emergency Fund, a local charity providing short-term financial assistance for local residents.
PROJECT MANAGER, TECHOLOGY/OPERATIONS
Tayla splits her time between two very important roles: Project Manager for the Technology Team and manager of a women’s educational program. As Project Manager — Technology and Operations, Tayla helps the Technology Department to interface with both Affiliates and iPROMOTEu staff, in addition to developing and implementing technology improvements. As the manager of A Woman’s View, she promotes an educational program designed exclusively for female Affiliates. When she’s not working, Tayla enjoys playing bass guitar, dancing, snorkeling and making jewelry. Her philosophy: “There is opportunity in every interaction; you just have to know where to look.”
E-COMMERCE PLATFORM MANAGER
As the e-Commerce Platform Manager, Timothy develops and maintains the iPROMOTEu e-Stores for our Affiliates. By offering these e-commerce solutions for their customers, he helps our Affiliates add additional ways for them to become more successful. Timothy is a live music fan who enjoys sailing, the beach, great food and wine — and not taking himself too seriously.
As the Marketing Manager, Ashley is responsible for assisting with all recruiting marketing materials and projects. Her job is to follow the overall brand strategy through consistent messaging including website content, field support collateral, advertising placement, social media activities, trade show participation and video/photo production. Ashley also handles all the event planning for the company’s many events and tradeshows throughout the year. It is a huge responsibility that requires superior organizational skills. She manages every aspect, down to the finest detail. Ashley loves the high energy of the office and working alongside her peers. Outside the office, she enjoys cooking, DIY projects, traveling, going to concerts and spending time with friends and family.
As Graphic Designer, Elena offers services to Affiliates in regards to any artwork that may need to be converted, redone, recolored, resized, etc. She prepares and formats existing art, which includes Raster to Vector, and low resolution to high resolution production to support multi-tasking between projects to meet deadlines. Elena enjoys coming to work because of the friendly atmosphere and working close with Affiliates. She freelance’s on her free time and enjoys skiing, hiking, swimming, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her family and pets.
AFFILIATE SERVICES SPECIALIST
As an Affiliate Services Specialist, Ryan works as the point of contact for Affiliates to provide the best service so they can put their minds at ease and focus on sales and growing their business. He helps by fielding any questions regarding order or technical issues. Ryan’s favorite part about his job is that he gets to work with his friendly co-workers and Affiliates, which makes every day at iPROMOTEu a great one. He enjoys following Boston sports teams, playing pool, reading, cooking, going to concerts and comedy shows, and loves spending time at the beach. Ryan works and lives by Ernest Hemmingway’s “Courage is grace under pressure.”
SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT
Pat joined the iPROMOTEu management team in July 2000 as Director of Business Development. At iPROMOTEu, he works to increase the number of distributors affiliated with the iPROMOTEu network. He began his professional career with the Canada Federal Government in 1976. In 1996, he left government work after serving 20 years of service as the Manager of Immigration. He then formed and partnered in a small telecommunication company. From 1996 to 2000, He helped grow the company from its inception to a profitable and very successful entity that was ultimately sold to a large national telecommunication company. Pat attended Ryerson University.
