December 3, 2019 — Wayland, Mass. — iPROMOTEu, a promotional products distributor organization operating in the U.S. and Canada and the 11th largest as ranked on the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) Counselor magazine list of the top 40 distributors for 2019, has completed the hiring of five new business development managers. The expansion of its business development team under Les Dorfman comes alongside the organization’s 20th year in business.

Each manager was chosen for his or her extensive experience in our industry and their impressive accomplishments. We couldn’t be happier to have them aboard.”
Joining Bob Schwei and Pat Caccamo on the iPROMOTEu business development team are Julie Ditchik, Carrie Gorges, Heather Hoffman, Nancy Jolly, and Scott Thackston.
Responsible for Western U.S. growth, Julie Ditchik is a 20-year supplier veteran in the promotional products industry. Her experience includes 16 years as director of sales and marketing at Pinnacle Designs, where she provided strategic direction and oversight of national multi-line reps as well as responsibility for major client relationships and vendor partnerships.
Representing suppliers, Ditchik researched and collaborated with product development teams to create unique solutions for the industry. She also worked with national distributors to deliver quality products, plans, and approaches for promotional purposes. Ditchik served on the Specialty Advertising Association of California (SAAC) board as director of publicity and events. She lives in Southern California with her husband Bob.
“I’m very excited to be part of this new team at iPROMOTEu,” Ditchik said. “The company has been on an impressive growth trajectory. I look forward to contributing to that growth into 2020 and beyond.”
Covering iPROMOTEu’s Northeast territory is Carrie Gorges. With 25 years of experience in the custom print and packaging industries as well as promotional products and educational fundraising, Gorges brings a wealth of knowledge and insight into multiple areas of iPROMOTEu’s offerings to Affiliates, such as its printing and design services, brand development, and more.
Gorges has been an active participant in the industry through her attendance at numerous trade shows throughout the years, where she built many successful distributor and supplier relationships. She is also actively involved with organizations such as ASI, PPAI, the Print Services & Distribution Association (PSDA), and SAGE.
“This is an amazing industry to be a part of, and it’s just as amazing to be a part of one of its greatest leaders,” Gorges said. “iPROMOTEu takes a completely different approach than its competitors — one that puts the Affiliate first. I’m glad to be part of that philosophy and now be able to share it with those who might be looking for a new home in the promotional products space.”
Heather Hoffman is a 22-year veteran in the promotional products industry. She spent the majority of her career with award-winning supplier Visions/Awardcraft before joining iPROMOTEu. In her new role, Hoffman will be responsible for iPROMOTEu’s Midwest territory.
Hoffman started her career in customer service and in 2004 became customer service manager. She also ran the marketing department and was responsible for ensuring a consistent eye-catching trade show presence. In 2013, Hoffman was promoted to vice president of inside sales in where she handled more than 50 major accounts. Hoffman has hundreds of distributor relationships and is excited to share the iPROMOTEu service platform with them. She lives in Celina, Ohio with her husband Steve.
“My career has focused extensively on service, and that’s one thing that I knew iPROMOTEu truly values for its Affiliates,” Hoffman said. “As a distributor organization, its Affiliates are its most valuable asset. Nancy Jolly is a 29-year veteran of the promotional products industry, having started as a factory representative before becoming a multi-line rep for In Stepp Marketing as vice president of sales. At In Stepp, Jolly was responsible for accounts in many Central and Southern states. She served on the Houston Promotional Products Association (HPPA) board for three years, was elected the HPPA RAC Delegate for a two-year term, was on the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) WLC work group for three years, and assisted with PPAI and its Promotional Products Education Foundation committee.
Throughout her years in the industry, Jolly has received numerous annual awards for outstanding sales, top producer, highest growth, and more. She was also the recipient of the PPAI scholarship award and was a HPPA scholarship recipient. She has had the honor of being selected by PPAI for the past three years to attend the Legislative Education and Action Day (L.E.A.D.) in Washington D.C. on behalf of the industry. In her new role at iPROMOTEu, she will be responsible for growth in the organization’s Southwest territory.
Jolly currently resides in Madisonville, Texas with her husband Gregg and their dog Gracie.

Scott Thackston joins iPROMOTEu with 22 years of experience in promotional products with industry uniform and event display supplier Aprons Etc. in executive management roles over his two decades of service. He also has nearly 30 years of experience in large format textiles, dye-sublimation printing, and event marketing displays expertise throughout various related fields with an emphasis on growing brand and sales development. In addition to his marketing, sales, and advertising experience, Thackston is also specialized in project and contract negotiations and uses social media to provide campaign content to distributors and clients. He will be responsible for iPROMOTEu’s Southeast territory.
“I began developing industry marketing and sales campaigns early in my career, with an emphasis in brand value-add development on unique textile promotional products,” Thackston said. “At iPROMOTEu, I’ll be directing strategic initiatives with the goal of informing our distributor partners on the value of using iPROMOTEu as the best ROI value proposition offering exclusive back-of-the office services and marketing/sales channel support.”
